Black’s Farm Store was in business in Primghar, Iowa for 35 years and was purchased by Brennen Triplett in 2014. After being purchased, Brennen Triplett and his business partner Joshua Rausch formed O’Brien County Ag Supply and have remained committed to providing quality customer service with competitive pricing and a desire for high yields. They have managed their expansion of services throughout the Northwest Iowa region, including seed sales, comprehensive chemical sales, and application in conjunction with professional agronomic assistance. Both Triplett and Rausch are dedicated to the superior service they give their customers.

Brennen Triplett
Owner/Agronomist
Brennen studied at Iowa State University and has a background in Agronomy. Triplett is dedicated to providing agronomy assistance, using the most current information in a constantly changing business of agriculture, in order to ensure his customers’ success.
Joshua Rausch
Owner/Agronomist
Joshua studied at South Dakota State University. He has a background in agronomy and is excited about the future of agriculture. Rausch’s focus is improving nitrogen management and precision placement.
Steve Koch
Agronomist
Bringing 25 years of experience in the industry, Steve’s focus is on achieving higher yields. Koch attended both Iowa Lakes and South Dakota State University and enjoys serving our customers and solving problems out in the field.
Steve Cargin
Warehouse Manager

Sierra Smolders
Operations & Communications
Sierra studied Farm Operations and Management at Dordt University and has an agriculture background. Smolders manages our nitro bay, digital platforms, and assists our warehouse staff and agronomists during the spraying/fertilizer seasons!
Sue McCauley
Accounting & Finance
Sue has a bachelor’s degree in Management with a Finance emphasis from the University of Northern Iowa. She is active in the Primghar community where she has lived for 36 years. Sue previously worked as a Finance Manager before joining the OBCAS team in May of 2020.
Tyler Dykstra
Agronomist/Operations
Coming to us with ten years in the agronomy department and an agricultural background, Tyler is always eager to hop in equipment and help customers with advice about their crop!
Brian Massmann
Warehouse Staff
With years of experience in both farming and agronomy, Brian is able to succeed by putting himself in our customer’s shoes. Massmann loves to operate equipment both in the shop and out in the field and he enjoys helping with seed and chemical sales as well as application.
Ali Huckaby
Administrative Assistant
Ali joined us August 2022 with over 15 years in the Customer Service field. She is excited to be in the Agriculture industry and is handling the chemical purchasing, sales orders, and billing. Make sure to stop by and say hi!
Trent Wester
Warehouse Staff
Trent started with us the beginning of 2023, he is eager to treat seed, deliver chemical, and help customers with chemical during the spraying season!
Skye Rehder
Administrative Assistant
Skye joined us as an intern in 2022 and jumped in full-time in December of 2023. Skye is at the front desk handling walk-ins, answering customer calls, inventory, sales orders, and office support.
Case Moermond
Agronomy/Operations
Case joined us in Fall of 2023. He has been an asset to our seed services and operations. When he isn’t in the office, you can find him out running a sprayer or spreader.
Kenny Hulett
Warehouse/Operations
Kenny joined us in Spring of 2024 with 38 years of trucking experience! He is new to the Agriculture world, but is eager to learn. He is always ready to jump in the semi to haul fertilizer/chemical or to deliver seed. He is always up for the challenge.
